כפי שלמדנו במבוא התג <p>
מיצג את תחילתה של פיסקה חדשה . התגים של
פסקאות הם הנפוצים ביותר מבין התגים בשפת HTML
. התג <p>
מוכנס בתחילתה של כל פסקה והוא מורה לדפדפן
לדלג לשורה חדשה . אין צורך לסיים פסקה עם </p>
וזאת מאחר שפסקה חדשה מתחילה עם תג <p>
חדש .

לכתיבת שתי פסקאות פשוטות יראה כך :
<p>Here I am in supposedly peaceful NZ and the
cop is suggesting that we put deadbolts on
our BEDROOM doors! Can you imagine? She also
recommended placing tripwires, connected to
sirens, all around the house. Sheesh.
<p>Of course, when we went home, we noted our front
window was open, our bathroom window was open,
and my roommate Wendy had found her bedroom
window open, even though she absolutely swears
it was shut when she left. Hmmmm.....
